"Designing with Architectural Concrete," qualifies for one AIA Continuing Education System Learning Unit hour and one credit hour for Health, Safety and Welfare. seminar addresses the numerous ways to color and texture concrete, showing images of award winning design projects throughout the country and giving new insights into the use of cost-effective architectural colored and textured concrete. The topics will be divided into three general categories: Concrete Coloring Systems- featuring integral colored admixtures, color hardeners, chemical stains, curing agents and finishes for colored architectural flatwork and vertical concrete for interiors and exteriors. Concrete Texturing Systems- including retarders and imprinting patterns for architectural flatwork for both precast and cast-in-place architectural concrete. Repair and Maintenance Systems- for protecting and beautifying commercial, industrial and residential concrete. Presented by: Leo DeMarco, L.M.
