"How to Navigate the Maze of Employee Leave Laws"

Attorney Michael D. Homans,Esq. an employment and labor law shareholder at Flaster/Greenberg will explore state and federal laws that apply when employees need medical leave, maternity leave or leave to care for a sick child; how to comply with overlapping laws and policies, including the issue of whether the leave must be paid or unpaid. Applicable laws include the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, the New Jersey Family Leave Act, New Jersey State Disability Insurance, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination.
