Workshop: Learn How to Use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to Drive Traffic, Leads and Sales
About the Seminar:
§ Search Engine Optimization, commonly referred to as SEO, is the process of updating the content on a website to maximize its exposure to search engines and in turn, potential customers.
§ Areas of focus within SEO include keyword placement, page titles, headings, anchor text and meta descriptions.
§ AdWords is a service offered by Google that places ads (both text and image) at the top or bottom of, or beside the list of results Google displays for a particular search query.
§ The choice and placement of the ads is based primarily on relevance of the search query to the ad content and the amount an advertiser is willing to bid.
§ Performance of an AdWords campaign is evaluated by tracking 'conversions' such as the number of newsletter signups or phone calls.
§ Both SEO and AdWords are ongoing efforts and offer the opportunity to increase online traffic by tweaking under-performing efforts.
