Straight from section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code a Cafeteria Plan allows qualified expenses to be paid on a pre-tax basis. This would include:
Section 106: Medical Insurance Premiums
Section 105: Un-reimbursed Medical Expenses (Deductibles & Co-payments, Prescriptions, Dental Care, Vision Correction Surgery and Over the Counter Medicine)
Section 129: Dependant Day Care (up to $5,000 for child or adult day care)
