In 2000\, along with her business partner and brother\, she and Jim founded their own residential building company\, C&C Development Company\, L.L.C. continuing a family tradition in home building that began in the 1930's.\n\n\n\nBarbara's commitment to the building industry is evidenced by her extensive involvement in both the New Jersey Builder's Association and the Builder's League of South Jersey. An active member of both organizations\, she is a life member of the New Jersey Builders Association's Board of Directors and has twice served as President of the Builder's League of South Jersey. Her long-term efforts have earned her such awards as NJBA's Builder of the Year\, Builder Hall of Fame and Builder Continuing Service Awards. She has also received the Distinguished Service and Builder Hall of Fame awards from the Builder's League of South Jersey.
